In 2006 while living in Victor Harbor, SA, I became interested in textille art. The traditional quilting patterns seemed too formal for me. I was looking for free expression. The book which inspired me to design and make my own contemporary art quilting projects was “Contemporary Quilts – Design, Surface and Stitch” by Sandra Meech.
