For Peter, being creative comes naturally. A self-taught artist and photographer, his unique artwork is spontaneous, designed with his good eye for colour and shape. No two pieces are the same.

For Ilze, her natural artistic talent and travels took her to Switzerland, Austria, Italy, France, England and Latvia and later to the Philippines. It was during her extensive travelling and living in Switzerland and Germany that Ilze emerged to produce some of her best work in illustration: illustrating 5 Latvian language books, most published in Sweden by "Ziemelblazma" in Vasteros.

It is within her extensive folio that you will discover many different aspects of Ilze's talents which tells her story and how she emerged to become who she is today.

Ilze loves cooking - giving you step-by-step recipes from her Latvian mother's cook book, with photos for every step of the way, specialties, like "piragi" (bacon & onion yeast buns). Absolutely delicious with beef consomme, or served hot by themselves at a gathering of friends, if you can wait that long.

Aside from traditional European cooking Ilze's Kitchen likes to make an assortment of marmalades. relishes and chutneys, for example spicy tomato relish and exotic mango chutney. You can make your own, customising the recipes to suit your own tastes.
